根據Twitter爆料者AestheticGamer今日回答網友問題時的說法，《惡靈古堡3 重製版（Resident Evil 3 Remake）》或無打算繼續推出後續DLC，因為開發組M-Two已經開始著手另一款CAPCOM遊戲的開發中了。

Everyone keeps on asking me about RE3 DLC.

The honest answer is – I don't know. That said, I find it incredibly unlikely as to my knowledge work stopped on RE3 some time ago. M-Two are already working on another game.

Resistance has some updates coming up if interested in that.

相信玩過去年的《惡靈古堡2 重製版》的玩家對於後續添加的額外內容「幽靈生還者」，而本次的《惡靈古堡3 重製版》根據爆料因為開發組M-Two已經停止本作的開發工作，而很有可能不再擁有後續額外內容。

根據AestheticGamer後續回覆，開發組M-Two現在著手開發的CAPCOM新作很有可能要在兩年後才會公佈。
