很不幸，在《陰屍路 最終章》還沒有完全發售之前，以改編著名漫畫，製作劇情豐富冒險遊戲而聞名的開發商Telltale在今天一早就正式宣佈：關閉旗下大部分工作室，並大規模裁員。

Telltale這次舉動也瞬間在歐美遊戲圈引進巨大震盪。很多玩家包括遊戲業界人士都對此感到惋惜。而目前歐美多家遊戲廠商也紛紛向Telltale的失業員工發出邀請，希望這些優秀的開發者能加入到他們團隊。其中就有：
